Questions
What are the startup costs and what do they include?
Currently the range of investment is from $222,494 to $414,489, which includes the $40,000 initial franchise fee. The rest of the estimated costs include expenses to fit out your BARE Blends, equipment and inventory, third party professional advisory fees, insurance and three months of working capital. The range is also due largely to the size and condition of your potential store as well as where it is located. We will work with you to find a location that will fit your budget. Learn More.
How big is a typical BARE?
Your stand-alone shop should be between 1,000-1,300 square feet with adequate parking and drive by traffic. We have specific site criteria to help guide you in site selection and a master broker who will evaluate your local real estate options to ensure we find a good fit for your BARE. If you own or operate a fitness or health center with a minimum number of members and adequate space (between 700 and 1,000 square feet) dedicated to opening BARE, we will consider this location for an approved co-located shop.
How long does it take to open?
Opening your BARE depends on how quickly you find a location and sign a lease. As part of our pre-opening support, we help you evaluate real estate, and offer step-by-step guidance to help fit out your BARE. Once you sign your lease, you should be able to open in as few as six to twelve months.
Do I have to be an owner operator?
Not at all! Our model is set up perfectly for both owner operators or semi-absentee investors. We can help you decide which you fit into and how to delegate a manager to run the day-to-day operations of your business if you are looking to simply invest.
Can I own more than one BARE Blends?
Absolutely. Many owners operate multiple shops and we are happy to help you decide what is right for you and your market.
How many people should be on my team at BARE?
If you are an owner operator, at most times you'll likely have between three and five team members working at any time alongside yourself. If you are a semi-absentee investor, this number will increase.
How much does each BARE make in revenue?
We are happy to share our Financial Performance Representation, called an Item 19 in our Franchise Disclosure Document, with all serious candidates. This useful tool highlights affiliate performance and history. Once you apply we will provide this for your review and help you better understand the information and our business model.
Do you offer in-house delivery or work with 3rd party delivery services?
Absolutely. We have offered delivery in-house as well as used third parties for this service and we are happy to work with you to determine which option is best for you and your store.
